Happy National Scrapbooking Day!

In honor of National Scrapbooking Day I thought that I'd post the rest of the pictures of the scrapbook that I completed this week. Ok, that's kinda all I have for you. I hope to work this weekend on some things to show you for next week. Stay with me, I'll be back to the card making fool that I am. Promise.
Ginger was a ham. Even when she was a puppy she knew when the camera was on and it was almost like she would pose. You can tell in a lot of her pictures. As a matter of fact this page with the "happy" on it. I was outside that day taking some pictures and Danielle was sitting in the chair. Almost as if on cue she hopped up on the chair with Danielle as if to say "ok, I'm ready ~ snap the picture".
You can't see it in the scan, but this page has a tag that pops out of the top with the journaling on it. When I do pages I like to have interaction. I like to make them so people can pull out the journaling or pull out tabs that have hidden pictures. I also like to write in circles or have the journaling on a circle with an eyelet so the people have to turn it to read it. Just something fun for the viewer to look at.

Remember if you'd like to see any of my pictures up close just click on them and it will bring up a larger version for you to see.

When I scrapbook I pull out my drawers of paper and everything goes... I've got such a mess to clean up it's not funny. And I don't keep track of what paper I'm using or who this embellishment is from. But if you would like to know what or who something is by just ask, I may be able to find out.

Have a great day. And what are you going to scrap today?

Found your pages on SplitCoast Stampers. Ginger caught my eye...so sorry for your loss! We lost our Casey Girl almost two years ago and I still have a hole in my heart. I've been thinking of making a book of her, but I'm still too raw. I'm happy you could do it for Ginger...Loved the pages! Lisa

Oh! Joani,

I love your scrapbook pages of your fur-babies. I also have a dedicated scrapbook my husband made for me of my Jack Russels I lost 6 years ago. Your Ginger was beautiful!

I love the photos and layouts...the designs are great but it's the journaling and your words in your post that show how much meaning there is behind all the memories you are sharing. I love it!
