It's back to school Monday!

Woo-Hoo!!
Danielle is off to school. Her last school year in high school. Of course yesterday I teased her most of the day, and she was saying "Mommmm" me all day long! And when she was off this morning I said "woo-hoo" to her again ~ and I think she was tired of it because she did not respond... No she knows how I felt the past few months with the "I'm bored", but she loves school anyway. She says no, but she's such a social butterfly that I'm sure by the end of the day she'll be glad she's back. Why else would she want to go to school to be a teacher??

Ok ~ enough. And how was your weekend? Great I hope! It's been super hot here. I told hubby that I'm playing turtle and he looked at me like I'm crazy. I told him "yes, turtle. That's where I don't stick my head outdoors til it's no longer hot!" Yes, I'm crazy!!

So, while playing "turtle" I created this. I wanted a simple card to make and this came to mind. I want to get the new SU! medallion stamp, but I had to order some other "essentials" first. And I thought of my Fancy Pants Pollen Dust stamp set that I have. It is not the medallion stamp, but it will have to do. And I am sorry for the picture - I tried to fix it, but it was just too bright.

I stamped the stamp from my Fancy Pants set with So Saffron ink on to a piece of So Saffron cs. I then added a length of sheer brown ribbon to the panel and attached it to a Creamy Caramel card base. I punched out the Chocolate Chip piece with my nesties scallop oval and stamped the frame and sentiment with Versamark ink and then attached it to the card. The inside I just layered a piece of Chocolate Chip and white cs and left it blank for the recipient to write on.

I then stamped the same swirl image on the envelopes with So Saffron ink so they would match.

I wanted to package them up so you could see them so I made a box with an acetate lid so they will show thru. While I was adding the cording to keep the package closed it reminded me of the boxes that wallets come in, doesn't it?
There's what I have for you this morning. I will show you more later!
