How about some potpourri?

That's what I've got for you today - a big old bunch of everything...
I have to say that I am so very sorry for being gone as long as I have been.  I really did not think that it was that long.  Christmas.  Christmas was the last time that I had posted.  That's been almost a month!!  Where does the time go?

So are you ready for a little bit of this and that?  If you are grab your coffee or whatever you prefer, put your feet up and get ready...  here I go...

I was busy, really busy making Christmas cards.  I had quite a few to make ~ and I'd take the pictures of them I just did not post them.  So here are some of them that I made.  I know that Christmas is over, but maybe they will give you some inspiration and heck, maybe an idea for this upcoming Christmas.

So there are just some of the cards that I mailed out.  I also made some treat holders too!

Then of course I was busy with the puppy, Dixie.  She's grown so much and she's only 6 months old.  We had some snow days, of course after Christmas ~ and Danielle and Dixie were in the yard playing.  Yes, I had a sweater on Dixie.  It's cute.  This is taken just before we really got the snow.

I just could not get Dixie to look at the camera, she barely sat for Danielle to let me take the picture.  I wanted a little dog - and that's not going to happen - so I could cuddle and manage.  A little dog that would be a house dog.  NOPE.  Not Dixie, she loves it outside.  When we really got the snow she would go outside and bury her head in the snow and root around.   But I still love her.

Then Danielle was ever so kind to bring home some type of virus and she decided that she wanted to share it with us.  I got it first.  I was miserable.  It started off in my head and I was so stuffy, and the sinus headache was awful.  Then came the cough and sore throat.  So being the kind daughter I am I also shared it.  Mom got it next.  It is kinda scary when she gets sick because of her COPD and Asthma.  She got really sick.  And to top it off she was sick on her birthday.

For Christmas I got a cupcake cake pan.  I've wanted one for so long and I finally got one.  So I made Mom's' cake with it.  Now, this is the first one that I've ever made so the frosting job was not perfect - I almost did not share the picture.  But hey, everyone has to learn.  So I plan on making lots of these.  Another problem was how to cut it???  I had made a confetti cake on top and chocolate on the bottom.

And of course I had to make a cupcake card to go along with it!!

So that's what I've been up to.  How about you??  I've got something that I made last night to post tomorrow.  I've also been busy with some 3D items that I am making for an upcoming SCS shoe box swap that I'm in.  I'm not sure if I will post that too soon or not-I can't give away the suprise...
I'm in hopes that I'm back now.  I hope that I didn't scare you off with the long post - but I hope that it will give you some inspiration.  So I will see you tomorrow!!  Have a great day!
