T Shape Card

Howdy everyone!  I thought that I'd show you my T Shape card that I made.  Last Wednesday SCS had their tutorial on the T Shape card.  At first I thought "no, I can't do that".  It reminds me of a waterfall card and for the life of me I can not make one of those.  My hands just don't create them.  But I took a look at their tutorial and went to Kim's website (the one who made the tutorial) and I figured it out.

So you wanna see my version?  Of course, that's what your here for.
Now I love the colors on this card.  I used the new Cherry Cobbler from SU! and some DP that I think has been discontinued called Sweet Slumber.  The card base is 5 1/4" square.  The image is a digi from Pink Cat Studio, and of course it's cuppy cakes.

Now, let me pick this apart for you.  It was my first so I know that it is not right.  The panel that I put on the front is too large, so it hinders the mechanics of the card.  When you pull the slider the front flap does not open all the way.  It's ok I guess, but I know that it's not right so I had to make another card (that I'll show you later).
And I kept getting hung up on the slider.  Every time that I went to push the lever back in it would get caught on the base and front panel of the card.  So I had to make another card and do a little experiment.  Like I said, I'll show you that later.

You've really got to try one of these, they are easier than you think.

Have a great afternoon everyone!
