I've been wanting to sit down and make some place cards for Christmas dinner. I had an idea in my head what I wanted to make ~ but that just would not come out! So I ended up with these instead.
I used good old Frosty again. I just love that set! I stamped him, colored him with pencils and cut him out. I then cut out peices of my Heidi Grace DP. I just love that paper. It is the Shimmer Glitter paper in Dots and Stripes that I got on clearence from my LSS. I cut out peices of Not Quite Navy for the name peice. On that I used my Making Memories rub on letters in Heidi.
I then stamped the snowflake from Frosty in Ballet Blue and punched it out with my 1 3/8" circle punch. I attached that to the backside. On the snowflake I touched it up with my Waterfall Stickles glitter, and on the band of Frosty's hat. Also on the bottom of Frosty I used the Frosted Lace Stickles to add the look of snow.
Everyone always takes them home, so I have to make more each year ~ but that's ok. It keeps the brain juices flowin.
Have a great day!
They're wonderful! No wonder everyone takes them home every year. I would, too!
ReplyDeleteWhat did you use to write the names? They look bolder than a gel pen and I love how really clearly they show.
ReplyDeleteJoani, these are great, I wanted to ask you though, did you forget one? I didn't see my name!
