If you remember there was a lady that my hubby works with that wanted some graduation cards for her daughter. She finally told me what she wanted. I was kind of thankful that she wanted this card because I think it was the easiest :)
Between running upstairs to jump on the Internet and see what's what, doing dinner & laundry I finally got these done. They are having a graduation party for her and these are actually invitations to the party. She wanted this poem to go inside the card and instead of "the tassle's worth the hassle" on the front she wanted "shelby's big day" so those two things I printed off the computer. It made it a little easier I think.
The hat and diploma stamp on the card is from Angi-b. They were going out of business and I scored on the set for only $10.00. Not bad, and I really don't have any graduation sets - and I'll be needing one myself in just two years!! The cap that I stamped on the envie is from Clear Dollar Stamps and was pretty cheap too. If you'd like to go to Angi-b click here to go to the site. She actually has quite a few sets left at only $10.00 each!
I wanted to package them and not just toss them in a bag so I put them together with the envelopes in a clear bag and made a quick bag topper. I hope that she likes them, I'm sure she will.
I've got another project to do. I'm making something for a weekly challenge over at Paper Wings. So maybe I won't sit on the computer all day today :)
Those are wonderful - I'm sure she will like them! Thanks for the info about Angi-b as well.
