How have you been doing? I hope that today finds you well.
Today I am going to show you a card that I made a while back but have never posted. I was not too happy with it, I should of used different paper but I didn't. I didn't realize that I did not like it until it was finished. It is the
tri-shutter card that
SCS had shown on one of their weekly
resources. It was my first so I should get a pass,
shouldn't I?
There is a whole mess load of things that I used on this card. The base card itself is Not Quite Navy. I found a pack of it in the drawer not too long ago. I also used Barely Banana, So Saffron and DP from Heidi Grace. The stamps are from The Angel Company Butterfly Swirls & their grab bag, Hero Arts, Art Impressions, Penny Black and
SU Everything is Blooming.
To color in the images I used the direct to stamp technique with my markers, watercolors and pencils and gamsol. There is also some stickles added to some of the images and I also added some wire to the butterfly antenna.
Like I said, I'm not too happy with the card. After it was all done I thought that I should of used different DP than the same through out the card. But oh well, it was my first!
If you want to see the gallery that SCS has set aside for it take a peek HERE. If you'd like to see the directions I have them linked above for you for easy reference.
Today I am trying to finish a project so I don't have much more for you. Hopefully tomorrow brings more to show you!
Have a great day!
I love this card! It's so pretty, and I like that you used all different stamps. Have a good day:D
