You will then apply the tape as shown. Now tell me if this is confusing ~ my brain and my hands don't coordinate sometimes and things don't come out like they are supposed to Ü ~ you will take flap "B" to the inside, then fold over flap "A" and then flap "C" to the outside of the box. Rotate the box and do the same.
Now your basket should look like this...
I hand drew the bunny head and paws, then when I was done I thought "dummy.... you only need one paw for the template - just draw it twice...."
I made this for a template to re-use.
I then took the "template" and drew it again on white card stock and cut it out. To make the eyes I used my 3/4", 1/2" and 1/4" circle punches with Pretty In Pink, Orchid Opulence and Black card stock scraps.
Since I'm not a good "artist" I used my 3/4", 1/2" and 1/4" circle punches with Pretty in Pink, Orchid Opulence and Black card stock scraps. The nose I just cut out a triangle and placed it on the face. I used Pixie Pink ink and inked the edges for a little shading. For the ears I added some pink fun flock - I need to re-do it. And of course after the picture was snapped I thought to add some doodles around the edges of the bunny too.
I also took 2 - 1/2" strips and added those for a handle on the basket. It finishes it off a little I think.
I hope that this inspires you to create something fun for Easter. Let me know what you think. I'm going to leave this on the table with some candy in it.
I'm off for now - I need to go create something since I had a "play day" yesterday!
Have a great day!
Hugs,
Joani
