This is the last one for now, I promise...
All of these cards kinda have the same pattern, but with the different colors I like them.
The base card is Mellow Moss and I stamped the image on the base card with Old Olive ink. I stamped the image again twice on white cs. I trimmed one of the white cs images and layered it on to a piece of Old Olive cs and adhered it to the card. I then cut the center out of my other stamped image, added a crystal brad and adhered it to the card with pop dots. The sentiment from the Oval All set was stamped in Old Olive ink on Old Olive cs and punched out with my large oval punch. I stamped the sentiment again on white cs with Old Olive ink and used my smaller oval punch to cut it out. I layered that on to the Old Olive piece and added it to the lower right of my card and I was complete.
Sometimes when I need a bunch of cards I kinda follow the same patter with different colors. It goes quickly and you still get a little different look with the different colors.
So what do you think? I hope that they inspire you somehow.
Don't miss out on these other pages!

Black Medallion
Here's another shot at the Medallion stamp. This one did not turn out like I wanted it to, but I still like the final result.
I stamped the image on to the Basic Black base card with versamark ink and sprinkled it with Chablis embossing powder. I was wanting white, but I have no white EP - how is that? I then stamped the Medallion image with black ink on to white cs then again on to another piece. I stamped the image from the Fresh Cuts set over the top of one of the Medallion images. I added some chalk to the flower of the Fresh Cuts image, trimmed the image panel and adhered it to a Barely Banana piece of cs then to the card base. The other Medallion image center was cut out with my coluzzle, I added a crystal brad and added it to the card base with pop dots. I took a sentiment from the Oval All set and stamped it with black ink to a piece of Barely Banana cs. I took another sentiment from that set and stamped it with black ink on to white cs, punched it out with my smaller oval punch, adhered it to the Barely Banana piece and added it to the lower right of my card base. Once I was done I added some stickles to the Medallion image here and there for a little more color and I was complete.
Stay tuned, I've got one more to show you...

It's Monday
and where does the time go? Mom always said that when you get older time seems to fly by ~ It can't be true, I'm not old!!
Thanks to Betty letting me use her Medallion stamp I made a few cards yesterday. Wanna see? Of course you do or you wouldn't be here...
This first card was an accident that happened. Danielle was in the craft room with us and she was going on and on about this and that. I was not paying attention and cut the wrong image. I guess it turned out nice, don't ya think? A friend of ours Anne calls it "happy accidents" and I guess she's right.
The base card is Purely Pomegranate that I stamped the image with Bravo Burgundy ink directly on to the card base. I then stamped the image again on a white piece of cs, cut the image out in the center with my coluzzle and layered it to a piece of Old Olive cs. I took the piece that I cut out and added a crystal brad to the center and used pop dots to adhere it to the middle of the panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Oval All set with Bravo Burgundy ink on to Old Olive cs and punched it out with my oval punch. I stamped the image again with Old Olive ink on white cs and punched it out with my smaller oval punch and adhered it over the top of the Old Olive piece and adhered it to the card with pop dots and I was complete.

You like? I've got a few more to show you ~ but I'll make you wait til later Ü
Lucky me, lucky me!!
♫♪I'm the luckiest girl in the whole wide wide world♪♫
That song sticks in my head. But it's true!! I'm so lucky. See what my dear friend Rita sent me in the mail. I've wanted to get some more nesties but I haven't. I'm really trying to be good and not spend, and pay down on the cards. It's so darn hard when there is so much out there to tempt you.
But Rita sent me this surprise in the mail and I could not be happier. Jealous, aren't you? I'm going to be playing with these for a while ~ so get ready to see some creations!

Gum Holder Tutorial
As promised here are the instructions for the gum holder that I made. I am sorry for the fuzzy pictures. If you have any questions, just ask.
You will first take a piece of Basic Black cs cut to 8 1/4" x 2 1/2".
You will first take a piece of Basic Black cs cut to 8 1/4" x 2 1/2".
Score it at 2 1/4", 2 3/8", 5 6/8" and 5 7/8". Crease your score lines well.
Then you will take your end piece and cut it out with your word window punch. The word window punch will fit the small 5 stick Trident gum perfectly. Make your cut about 1/2" from the bottom and center it.
Apply a strong adhesive to the end and fold up and secure. Now is the time to add any decorative paper to the front. I used my scallop circle, 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" circle to decorate the front of mine. I then took a Velcro dot and cut it in half to secure the holder shut. One little tip that I do with my Velcro: I cut some of the fibers off of the dot. It allows for the Velcro to shut and secure but you don't have to pull so hard to open it. I do this with all the items that I use Velcro on. We are working with paper and you don't want to have to pull so hard that it makes tears on your creation.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I'd love to see what you make ~ if you make one link it back here!
Time Well Spent
Do you have a favorite set? A set that you seem to go to all the time? I do, it's Time Well Spent. I love that set and I seem to use it a lot. And of course the DP Tea Party matches it perfect!!
I made this card the other day with that set. I stamped the images from Time Well Spent and colored them with my watercolor crayons and aqua pen. I cut the images out and added some stickles here and there. The base card is Almost Amethyst that I layered with DP from the Tea Party collection. I also used Barely Banana and Regal Rose. This is just a simple pocket card. You take your 8 1/2" x 4 1/4" paper and score it at 4 1/4" and 7 1/5" on the long side - fold the paper in half and fold back the last inch section. Add your DP under the flap then take a length of ribbon and wrap it around the card and secure it in the front. You will add your stamped image over the top to hide the ribbon ends. Very, very easy - and quick too!
I hope you like it and it gives you a little inspiration. Have a great Sunday!

Happy Toasted Marshmellow Day!
I just had to show you these pictures. My daughter loves toasted marshmallows and smores. One evening we were thinking of them and we had BBQ'd earlier so the grill was still hot. Hubby threw a few more pieces of charcoal on the grill and we had toasted marshmallow's. Then one night Danielle wanted some, we were not going to fill the grill with charcoal so she could - so dear hubby (who's always thinking) went to the garage and got out his torch. It's intended purpose is for soldering things - well hubby brought it in and we took out our skewer's and had marshmallow's. Yup, that's my hubby. The Tim Allen of the south!
It's kinda off of the toasted marshmallows subject - but it's still about marshmallow's. My dear, dear hubby. I think that he is hilarious. He keeps me laughing all the time. You know they say that laughter is the best medicine, and I get plenty of it. They also say that the more you laugh the longer you live ~ if that's the case, I'm going to be well over 100!! Well he stuffed his mouth the other day and he was trying his best godfather impersonation. Take a peek.

On a can kick...
I wanted to share with you the paint cans that I've been making. I'm on a can kick again I think. I love making these and they turn out so pretty.
I do have to admit though that I can only find the notes for this can that I made. I used the Tea Party paper and the Time Well Spent stamp set. A little stickles here and there, some prima's and crystal brads and I was done.

Happy Friday
Good almost afternoon everyone! Sorry I'm late, balancing the checkbook and paying bills came first today.
I wanted to show you a little treat holder that I made last year but got a jump start on it this year. It's a little gum packet holder. Cute huh? What kid would not like to have that in his stocking this year? I know I would. And it's Trident so it is good for the teeth.
I just used some Basic Black cs and a piece of DP ~ this is my OLD SU! stash of DP Ghostly Greetings. I used my scallop circle punch, my 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" circle punches and that was it. The little Halloween cuties are courtesy of The Angel Company's Trick or Treaters set.
I was in hopes that I could show you lots today, but my checkbook put me in a bad mood Ü
I will be back tomorrow for sure to show you more. I've been busy.
**EDITED TO ADD: Some of you have asked for the directions for the gum holders. I will get back to you in a day or two with the instructions.

Howdy!
I just wanted to pop in and let you all know that I am here today ~ just busy with life. I promise that I will be back tomorrow to show you some kind of creation that I've made.
Today is my Sis-in-law's birthday and I've got other things cooking.
Have a great day & see you tomorrow!

My other two seasons
You like?
Yesterday I posted a peek at what I'm doing now ~ they are CD Calendars. Well, not really CD calendars ~ more like CD case calendars. The thought popped into my head last year but instead I made the checkbook calendars. I am forever looking for a calendar. When you don't have a daily job you go to you sometimes neglect the date... so that's where these come in.
I made 4 inserts for the calendar. One for spring, summer, autumn and winter. You just change them out with the months.

I will pop in later with the other two "seasons" for you to see later!
Off topic you might say
Ok, I know that this is a little off topic, but I had to show you.
These are just some of the pictures that Danielle had taken a week or so ago. Yup, senior portrait time. I can't believe it really. Remember when we were kids and had our pictures taken. They had that black velvet wrap or fuzzy pink throw around us? And the guys with the tuxedo jacket and tie. No more. I think it's kinda cool here you can have your picture taken doing whatever it is you love ~ and have that printed in the yearbook. It's really cool when you see them. The kids in their sports uniforms or on their horse. Some on their dirt bikes or whatever they are into. Yes, times have changed.
But I wanted to show you some of her pictures. Like I said these are just a few ~ but I love the whole rail road track theme. I think that they might even look pretty cool in black and white too.

Howdy & a good morning!
Good morning everyone! I hope that today finds you well.
I thought that I'd post for you a little something that I've been working on. I posted these last year and thought that I'd make them again. They are super easy to make and fun.
Here they are made for all the months, or seasons. The only problem I have with these is I generally like to layer too much and you really can't with these.

The other day I went to Michael's to pick up some things and I was so excited with the store. They were all decorated for Fall. Fall is my most favorite time of the year ~ and it's slowly approaching.
I'll be back later with a little something else to show you! Have a great afternoon!

Good Morning
Good morning and Happy Monday! The start of a new week. Let's see how much I can get done...
I was fiddling around the other day with some things I had in drawers. My goodness, I bet if you take a look at what you have in drawers you'd be amazed. I have a little cubby area - ok, it's more of a catch all - and I have SO much stuff in there. Paint cans, clipboards, lunch boxes, tins of all kinds... the list goes on. I just have to use it that's all.
So the other day I found some clothes pins and decided to cover them and add magnets to them. I love fridge magnets - and I thought they'd be cute to do. And I used some of my Angel Company paper~Catelynne my favorite!!
Then came the binder clips. I have lots of these, and when I was working I would of loved to have some of these. I used them all the time, but this would of been an addition to my colored staples and paper clips.

The base card is Chocolate Chip that I layered with paper from a Creating Keepsakes pad and so So Saffron. I stamped the image and colored it with watercolors. I inked the edges with some Chocolate Chip ink and added it to a Chocolate Chip panel. I layered different papers and added a length of ribbon to the card. The sentiment is stamped in Pretty in Pink on a So Saffron piece that I punched out with my scallop square punch and added it to a piece of Chocolate Chip that I punched out with my round tab punch and I was complete.

I sponged some Purely Pomegranate ink around the edges before adding it to a So Saffron and Purely Pomegranate layer. I added a length of ribbon around that layer before adding it to the card. I then stamped the sentiment in Chocolate Chip ink on a piece of So Saffron that I punched out with my scallop square punch and layered it to a piece of Pretty in Pink that I punched out with my round tab punch and I was complete.
Another thing that I've been doing lately is adding layers to the inside of the card. Why can't the inside be as pretty as the outside? So I generally use a piece of white cs and layer that to a piece of coordinating cs from the front and a scrap piece of whatever DP I use on the card. Unless it is a specific birthday card I generally keep the sentiment on the outside and let the user add their on words to the inside, it's more personal I feel.
Well enough for today? I hope to see you back tomorrow. Same place, maybe same time...

Howdy there
Good Saturday morning to you all! I hope that today finds you well. The weather is supposed to be a beautiful one this weekend. I'm happy for that.
We have some unexpected repairs to do on the house this weekend. Ok, Ricky has some unexpected repairs to do this weekend ~ I've got some crafting to do.
Betty and I have decided to do a local craft fair that is coming up the end of September. Am I a little worried? YES!! It's something that I've always wanted to do and never have. So yes, I am worried!! And of course the past couple of months my cards have not really been selling at the Peddler's Mall booth like I would like them too. I went yesterday to check out what I had and they were all gone. So now I have to re-stock that booth. AND another tidbit of news on my front - The lady who has the booth that I use said that there is a guy who has 3 booths there and just opened one in Frankfort wants me to make cards for him there. Can you believe it? First nothing, then all of the sudden everything!!! Yikes!
So needless to say I may not be around too much. I am going to try to add posts to blogger ahead of time. That way I can schedule them and not take too much time out of the craft room. I love to post for everyone, but I do need to get some serious crafting done.
Ok, enough of that. I want to show you something that I received in the mail the other day. I was so surprised!!! A dear friend in Canada, Barb, sent me this RAK. Isn't it just the bees knees! I love it! She made the earrings and the bracelet. There is also a polished stone Canadian totem that is gorgeous!
Thank you Barb. You are so kind, you made my whole week!!
And if you'd like ~ take a peek at Barb's blog. You will be happy that you did!

Pumpkin Milk Cartons?
I sat down and made 11 of these yesterday. I had some leftover Easter grass that I added to the bottom of the milk carton and filled it with candy corn. I normally make them without a window, but I thought that the colorful candy should show through.
I've had this template for a while now - but you can find it here if you'd like.
I'd love to see what you come up with ~ create one of your own and leave me a comment. I'll be sure and stop by to see it!

I'm here ~ just coffin!
Yes, it's becoming that time of year again - shift into Halloween mode. Well, maybe I'm just a 'little' early, but if you know me you know that I love Halloween!! Not the scary, creepy kind - but yes I love the movies - but the cute little kids dressed up, the fat decorated pumpkins, the candy. Just that time of year. I love love love Fall!!
Betty had brought over one of the coffins that made last year that I totally forgot about! She had said to make some of them so I did ~ just 15 for now. They a re quick to make. The longest part is the stamped decoration on it!
I may be shifting into Halloween mode sooner than I think!! Time to dust off the stamps and bring them out! It's never too early to get ready for the holidays.

It's hump day!
The week is 1/2 over ~ getting close to the weekend. Hubby had to work last Saturday and though I got to get stuff done it still throws off my schedule. It feels like it is the weekday when it isn't. Maybe we will go puppy shopping this weekend? I still miss my girl each and every day ~ but I think that it is time to get a new dog. If you are a dog lover you can understand the unconditional love that they give. Yes, it is time.
Yup, card time!! You ready??
This card I made using my Angel Company set Little Cupcake. As you know I love cupcakes, and this set is one of my go to set's. The base card is Pixie Pink that I stamped the candle with Pixie Pink ink. I layered on some Close to Cocoa cs that I punched with my SU! scallop border punch and then added some DP from The Angel Company Catelynne collection. I punched out the ovals with my Marvy punches and added a couple of ribbon loops and brads to it before adhering it to the card with pop dots. I then added the image to the front and some stickles and I was complete.

This card I stamped the word 'sweet' from The Angel Company's Little Cupcake set with Close to Cocoa ink on to Close to Cocoa cs. I then took a piece of Pixie Pink cs and ran it thru the cuttlebug with my swiss dots folder then ran it thru again to cut out the scallop circle. I added it to the card. I then added a piece of ribbon across the scallop circle. I cut out the two shapes with my cuttlebug and my labels two nesties and added that to the card. The sentiment was stamped with Chocolate Chip ink and punched out with my designer label punch. I added a punched 1 3/8" circle of Close to Cocoa behind it. I stamped the word 'birthday wishes' and 'happy birthday' on the inside of the card with Chocolate Chip ink. Once it was all put together I added some stickles to the cuppy cake and I was complete.
I hope that your sticking with me ~ I know that I'm not posting as much as I normally do, but I've been a little busy.
Have a great day!

Howdy, howdy Mojo99!
At least I'm not too late this week. This was the sketch for Mojo Monday yesterday. I needed to make some cards and loved this sketch ~ so I used it! Betty calls me layer queen and this card sketch was right up my alley!
This first card is more about the paper and sentiment only. I stamped the sentiment from Simply Said with Rose Red ink and punched it out with my Marvy scallop oval punch and layered it on to a piece of Chocolate Chip that I punched from another Marvy punch. The base card is Chocolate Chip that I layered with Purely Pomegranate, Tangerine Tango and some DP from Creating Keepsakes Power Pad. I used some of the last (sniff sniff...) of my Chocolate Chip satin ribbon from SU! with a crochet flower that Mom made and attached it to the card with a crystal brad and I was complete.
The base card is Purely Pomegranate that I layered with Chocolate Chip, Tangerine Tango and Creating Keepsakes power pad. I stamped the images from Simply Said on to white cs with Chocolate Chip, Purely Pomegranate and Pumpkin Pie inks and layered them on to Chocolate Chip cs. I used some ribbon, primas and crystal brad as embellies and adhered them to the card. The sentiment was stamped in Chocolate Chip ink and punched out with my Marvy scallop oval punches and applied them to the card with pop dots and I was complete.
So wadda ya think?
I hope that it inspires you to create something. As a matter of fact why don't you go over to the Mojo site and add your card creation.

Fresh cut Monday
Well here I am, another weekend under my belt. One more weekend closer to the BIG "40". Of course I pronounce it "fffffoorrrtttyy". I can't even type it right! I can't be getting closer to 40 - I was just 25 yesterday! How did this happen? 40 -ugh! I can say that I am grateful for one thing ~ I am a lot happier than I was when I was 25. And with age comes wisdom, and I am one wise guy *Ü*
Enough! I think that I just popped another grey just talking about it. Are you ready for some cards? Well ~ here goes.
One of my "new" favorite set's is called Fresh Cuts. It is so versatile. You can do so much with it.
The base card is Mellow Moss that I layered with some DP from The Angel Company called Kamalaht and some green marbled paper I've had forever. I stamped the image in with Mellow Moss and cut it out with my coluzzle then I layered it on to a layer of the green marbled paper. Before adhering it on to the card I added a length of ribbon to the card and tied a knot. I added the image panel then the flowers then I chalked the images flowers to add a little more color. I stamped the sentiment in Mellow Moss, punched it out with my word window punch and added it to a punched scrap piece that I punched out with my oval punch. I paper pierced it and added it to the top left of the card with pop dots and I was complete.

This card is basically the same, just different colors. The base card is a blue linen that I've had forever, that I layered a piece of TAC's Kamalaht DP to. I stamped the image with Night of Navy ink and cut it out with my coluzzle and added it to a piece of Night of Navy cs. Before adding it to the card I added a length of ribbon to it and tied it in a knot. I added the image panel and then the flowers. I colored in part of the stamped image with chalk then added the sentiment panel that I stamped in Night of Navy and punched out with my word window punch and I was complete.
I hope that these creations inspire you today! I might not make it back today ~ if I don't, see you tomorrow!

Card Tote
Happy Weekend!!
I hope that today brings you lot's of sunshine and inspiration!! I hope this post brings you inspiration!!
I've been busy the past few days. I could say I'm a paper crafting machine *Ü*
Here's a few of the cards that I've made to put inside of another tote bag I've made. I'll post the tote bag a little later, but here is the cards for it.
I should of stocked up with more of the Bella Rose paper and I didn't ~ maybe I will find someone out there selling it?? It is truly one of my all time favorites!
The base of this card is Pink Pirouette that I used some Bella Rose DP on. The insert is Riding Hood Red. I cut the paper 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and scored it at 5 1/2" and then again at 7 1/2". I used the bone folder to make sure that my folds were crisp. I attached a piece of DP under the flap then I added a length of ribbon to the flap and went around the back of the card. This is what is holding the card closed. I used the stamp set Heart Blossoms, colored the image with my pencils and gamsol and punched it out with my 1 1/4" circle punch. I then punched out a piece of Pink Pirouette with my 1 3/8" circle punch and then a piece of Riding Hood Red with my scallop circle punch and layered them all together. In the bottom left corner I punched out 3 circles with my 1/4" circle punch and adhered them with mini glue dots. I figured this was a nice way to layer and you don't have to worry about it tearing the envie when it goes thru the mail.

This shows what the insert looks like when pulled out.
Basically this card is the same as the last one, just a different way to use the Bella Rose paper.
The base card is Pink Pirouette that I layered with Riding Hood Red and Bella Rose DP. I used a length of ribbon and rick rack at the center of the card. I stamped the border image just above that with versamark ink. I took my SU! large oval punch and stamped the image from Sincere Salutations in the oval then I layered it on to a piece of cs that I cut out with my marvy scallop oval punch and I was complete.
I will be showing you the tote I made to carry these in later ~ so be sure to come back!!

Butterfly cards
As promised before here is the card that I wanted to show you the butterfly on. Just a simple little card, really. I think that it took longer to add the wire and beads to the butterfly than it did to make the card.
Both of the cards I used Purely Pomegranate, Chocolate Chip and some Close to Cocoa DP.
I used some grosgrain ribbon and my SU! scallop border punch and that was all. I did think about a sentiment on the front, but I wanted to keep it really simple. I did not want to distract the eye from the butterfly as the main focal point.
