How's about an enabler alert...
I don't have much to show you today (actually my camera's not here) and it's been run around day. I've been running errands and such so I've not had time to post anything new. Sorry. But I do have a few things that I wanted to share.
First ~ I posted the other day about the Double the Fun promo that The Angel Company is having. It is still running. July 31st to September 30th you can host a workshop or we can do a book party and you will be eligible for TWO Level A hostess sets and TWO half off items from the catty. This is a great way to pick up that Bind It All or a Scor-Pal that you've been wanting! Not ready for a funshop or a book party? I am also offering my own special of sorts.
If you would like to place an order, but not for the whole $100.00 you can do a 50-50 split. What that means is I am taking names of people who would like to spend just $50.00 and get one Level A hostess set and one half off item. If you are interested please let me know.
I am also taking names for people who would like to do a Stampers Group with me. What that means is you promise to purchase $25.00 in merchandise for a 4 month period and in one of those months you will be a "hostess". This is strictly a book party, there would be no actual going to different homes each month. I would prefer it if you are in the US since I pay the postage to get the "party" items to your home ~ however if you are out of the US please e-mail me and we can work it out.
Next ~ One of my favorite blogs to go to is Living Locurto. Amy has so many things on her blog I can literally sit there all day and look at it. In this post she has free retro printables. These are great for people who like to make ATC's or alterables. Check it out and let her know who sent you!
Also, I posted the other day that my dear friend Betty is gathering people for a SU! marker and a SU! button and brad share. If you are interested in more info please shoot her an e-mail at bgtodd2003@yahoo.com It is a wonderful way to collect some awesome markers really easily.
I hope to be back tomorrow with more to show you ~ so stay tuned!

Happy Independance Day!

Good Saturday morning and Happy Independence Day to you all! This July let us remember that freedom is not free. Many have fought and died so that we can have this freedom we enjoy today. Many still fight for these same freedoms. Let us not forget that freedom still comes with sacrifice, responsibility, and a price. I also hope that today is a safe and happy holiday for everyone.
I made this card with an image that I received from a RAK. I'm sorry, I'm not sure who makes the stamp ~ but I can say that I've had it for a while and I did not want to part with it til now.
This card I created with a stamp that I've had since I first started stamping, it is from Print Works. I colored the image in with my watercolor crayons then sponged some Real Red ink around it before layering it on to a piece of Riding Hood Red cs. The base card is Pacific Point that I layered with Riding Hood Red and DP from The Paper Studio and Reminisce. The sentiment is an UM stamp that I had received in a grab bag a long time ago from a stamp show ~ I colored that with my markers and stamped it on to white cs. I sponged a little Real Red ink around the panel before adhering it to a piece of Riding Hood Red and Pacific Point scraps. I cut the Pacific Point piece a little like a flag then used pop dots to adhere it to the card.
So wadda ya think?
Please don't forget the freebie that I posted the other day from Living Locurto. It's not too late to print some off for your 4th of July cookout. She's got lot's of great stuff on her site, I'm sure that she will become one of your favorites too!
Once again have a super great day today!

A mish mash of things today
Get a drink, sit down and relax. I'm not sure how long this will take....
First I want to show you all an award that I received from Rebecca over at Scrapper's Delight. It's the One Lovely Blog Award.

Here is the rules for this award which is given to new blogs and blogging friends.
1) Accept the award, post it on your blog together with the name of the person who has granted the award and his or her blog link.
2) Pass the award to 15 other blogs that you've newly discovered. Remember to contact the bloggers to let them know they have been chosen for this award. So here are the ones that I will pass this award on to.

Now these are some great blogs that I've got bookmarked on my computer. Sometimes I have time to actually look at a blog, then sometimes I scan it, bookmark it and go back later. And I know that some of these I've not even commented on. Yes, that's bad of me. But I will, I just don't always have time.
Now on to another one of my new passions. The past few days I've been bitten by the digital scrap booking bug. I just love it! First of all I love my computer. I can not remember what I did without one. But I try to be on the computer in the mornings and then in the craft room in the afternoon. My computer is upstairs away from my craft room so I run back and forth a lot. Great for the calf muscles *Ü*
I did this really quick this morning. Faster than you could pull out a tape gun!! I don't have any special programs, I just use Microsoft Digital Image Standard 2006 Edition that came with my computer. All you do is open up all the paper and elements and you just click and drag. OMGoodness it is so super easy! Can you tell that I am totally excited about it?! And let me tell you there are so many places on the net that you can go to to get freebie papers and embellishments. My favorite place I've found so far is Summertime Designs. Summer is awesome! You can't imagine the papers and things that she has. Please take time to check her out!
And last but not least, another site that I've found that I just love is Living Locurto. Amy's site is a bit of everything. She loves to take pictures, and there is recipes and freebies. It's a place that you can go to and click all day long and still see new stuff... I love how she posts her menus for the week. If you click here it will take you to a post for a Mother's day box and you can print off the instructions, template and some cool paper to make it with!
I hope that I did not overwhelm you too much today. I've almost finished with my scrapbook that I'm working on. Then I should be back on track with more cards.Have a great day!
Hugs,
Joani
