Whoa, way off track again. Ok, sewing. Yeah, that's what did it! Now, I wanted to make a birthday card and wanted to do some stiching on it.
The card itself is Brocade Blue. I took a peice of plain white CS, and a peice of Heidi Grace DP (I love the Heidi Grace papers) and stiched them together. Yes, I have found out NOT to use tape around the edges where you sew. Yes, I am sewing machine challenged! Anyway, I stiched around the edges with some yellow thread. I then stamped the cake from Along The Same Lines and colored it in with pencils. I layered that on to a peice of Temping Turquoise and sponged around that with Bashful Blue. I stamped the happy birthday (from Hero Arts) in Bliss Blue and layered that on to a peice of Tempting Turquoise also. I layered that first on the paper, then the cake over the top with pop dots. I then finished it off with adding some stickles to the candle flames and the cake itself.Hope you all like it, leave me a comment and let me know.
Have a great day!!!
