Howdy, howdy Mojo99!

At least I'm not too late this week. This was the sketch for Mojo Monday yesterday. I needed to make some cards and loved this sketch ~ so I used it! Betty calls me layer queen and this card sketch was right up my alley!
This first card is more about the paper and sentiment only. I stamped the sentiment from Simply Said with Rose Red ink and punched it out with my Marvy scallop oval punch and layered it on to a piece of Chocolate Chip that I punched from another Marvy punch. The base card is Chocolate Chip that I layered with Purely Pomegranate, Tangerine Tango and some DP from Creating Keepsakes Power Pad. I used some of the last (sniff sniff...) of my Chocolate Chip satin ribbon from SU! with a crochet flower that Mom made and attached it to the card with a crystal brad and I was complete.
The base card is Purely Pomegranate that I layered with Chocolate Chip, Tangerine Tango and Creating Keepsakes power pad. I stamped the images from Simply Said on to white cs with Chocolate Chip, Purely Pomegranate and Pumpkin Pie inks and layered them on to Chocolate Chip cs. I used some ribbon, primas and crystal brad as embellies and adhered them to the card. The sentiment was stamped in Chocolate Chip ink and punched out with my Marvy scallop oval punches and applied them to the card with pop dots and I was complete.
So wadda ya think?
I hope that it inspires you to create something. As a matter of fact why don't you go over to the Mojo site and add your card creation.

Ready for #2?

Are ya??

Well here we go ~ the 2nd part of this sneek peek. I'll have a #3 then I'll reveal the sneek peek.

Ok, I think that you can tell now that I kept with the Ballet Blue and Chocolate Chip theme, right? Chocolate Chip is my most favorite color to work with. Everything goes with it.

So here goes:

The base card is Ballet Blue and I layered it with Chocolate Chip and some Close to Cocoa DP. I stamped the image from Simply Said with Ballet Blue ink. You can hardly tell in the picture but the flowers have a little yellow chalk over them just for a touch of color. I also added a piece of Chocolate Chip satin ribbon that I had to the center of the card. When that was being discontinued I made sure to load up on it!

I stamped the sentiment in Ballet Blue ink and punched it out with my oval punch and layered it on to a piece of Ballet Blue cs that was punched with my curly label punch and used pop dots to adhere it to the corner.

The inside is once again the same as the other ~ I used a piece of Chocolate Chip and a piece of white cs on the inside to finish it off.

Stay tuned, there will be a sneak peek #3 soon!

Simply Said.... Thank You

Now that I am officially done with Christmas cards I am thinking of Thank You cards. Actually I am thinking of Valentines, but that will wait til next week!
For this card I used Purely Pomegranate, Certainly Celery and Cameo Coral. I stamped the flower and outline images on the pomegranate cs. I then stamped the flower and outline images on the coral cs and adhered it to the card. I wanted something else on the card and was not sure what. So I pulled out (and dusted off) the decorative scissors! I had a peice of celery cs that I cut and taped to the bottom.
I stamped the flower image on white cs and colored with my pens. I mounted that to coral and celery cs and used my corner rounder to finish the edges. Also you can not tell, but I did use my sakura jelly pen on the main image for a little sparkle.
The saying is at the top and I just stapled a staple thru the peice to add something to it.
Hope you all enjoy!
