What I've been up to...

I've really been busy, really.  I've been preparing for a holiday bazaar that I commited to doing ~ So I've not been slacking off.  As a matter of fact, I have lots to show you - just not now.  The bazaar is this Saturday, and if you happen to be in the area stop in ~ I'd love to meet you!!

For Sale Page Updated

Butterfly cards

As promised before here is the card that I wanted to show you the butterfly on. Just a simple little card, really. I think that it took longer to add the wire and beads to the butterfly than it did to make the card.

Both of the cards I used Purely Pomegranate, Chocolate Chip and some Close to Cocoa DP.
I used some grosgrain ribbon and my SU! scallop border punch and that was all. I did think about a sentiment on the front, but I wanted to keep it really simple. I did not want to distract the eye from the butterfly as the main focal point.

I am working on a new stationary folder to hold these cards - that I should show you tomorrow.

I think that I spoiled you yesterday

Yup, I did.

I posted everything I had yesterday and there is only really one post today. Sorry. But tomorrow I will have more again ~ promise!

I want to show you the butterflies that Mom is making. I showed you her butterflies, but I had a whiz bang idea! I love to play with my wire, I really hardly use it, but I love to play with it. And I made a card and had Mom make me a brown butterfly. And I don't care too much for the thread antennas so I grabbed the wire ~ and my beads are in the same drawer. POOF! Idea!!

I really like them with the beads. Mom is selling them if anyone is interested just shoot me an e-mail.

I'll be back later with the card that I used these on!

Butterflies!

Mom's at it again!

Instead of flowers, she's making butterflies! I think that they turned out cute!! The pattern calls for the antenna to be yarn but we did one with wire and it turned out cute!
