Fancy Pants

I'm the luckiest girl, in the whole wide-wide world.... Isn't that how the song goes? The LSS here in town has a "sale" every 2nd Wednesday of the month. They accept a current month Micheal's coupon. The store does not really sell too many stamps, however I've had my eye on this wonderful set from Fancy Pants. It was $39.99. Well, I could not justify spending that much money on stamps, even if there are 43 stamps in the set. Well, with trusty coupon in hand I got it!!! I was so excited. And you know what I've done? Nothing! I brought it home, had to touch it! Had to pick the peices off the sheet. But to stamp with it? Nope. It's been almost a month and I have not inked one stamp ~ til yesterday :)

I needed to make a card for 2 friends who are undergoing some surgery's - today and next week. So, I pulled out my "Fancy Pants" and went to town. Well, I am the type of cardmaker that likes to make cards with layers so this one was kind of out of the box for me.
I used SU! CS in (Bashful??) Blue and Chocolate Chip. The ink is Bashful Blue, Chocolate Chip. Close to Cocoa and Creamy Caramel. I stamped random images on the card and then I stamped the big flower and little flower with versamark and used UTEE to make them shiney.... I attached those two flowers with the jewel brad (found at a local flea market - 60 for only $2.00!!!) and placed that on the card with pop dots. The sentiment in the lower right corner is from Sincere Salutations and it is stamped in Chocolate Chip.
Leave me a comment if you like it! Like I said, it is out of my nature to make a card with no real layers.
TTFN! Have a great day!!!
