I hope that these next cards inspire you like they've inspired me.
I went to a stamp camp at a Anne's home a couple of months ago and she had us make these cards. Well, the cards on the right with the flower ~ but she had on display a card similar on the right. It's the Inspired by Nature SU! stamp. I've been wanting to make one of those forever and when Betty stopped by the other day she brought the stamp. Of course I grabbed it and inked it right up!!
Anyway, here's what I used... For the cat tail card the base card is So Saffron. I stamped the grass image with Garden Green and placed a layer of light vellum over the top and added the Old Olive ribbon. I then punched out the "cat tails" from some scrap Chocolate Chip with my slot punch and just glued them on to the card. I stamped the word Friendship from Hero Arts across the bottom with Chocolate Chip ink and I was done.
The flower base card is Blush Blossom. I colored the flowers with my markers Chocolate Chip, Old Olive and Cameo Coral. I added a piece of light vellum over the top, added the Old Olive ribbon and stamped the word Friendship with Chocolate Chip ink.
I made 12 of these in no time with the matching envies. They were very quick and I think that they turned out wonderful.
I hope that this inspires you to make something!!
