How Sweet it is

I think that I am on a My Favorite Things kick. I really do love the images. They took a while to grow on me. At first the thought of a headless figure was a little disturbing, but I actually like that I don't have to color in the face. Sometimes that's a hard task.

I had another birthday card to make and I pulled this set out. I have no idea why I thought of the color orange, but I guess it turned out well. It's kinda a fun color.
The base card is Pink Passion that I layered with Only Orange and some old DP from SU! that I found in the scrap drawer. I took the Only Orange layer and ran it thru the cuttlebug with my Swiss Dots folder. I took the DP and layered it on to a piece of Pink Passion cs and then peirced the holes around the outer edge then adhered it to the card. I stamped the image from MFT How Sweet It Is and colored it in with my pencils and gamsol, sponged some Pink Passion ink around it and layered that on to a piece of Pink Passion cs. I think that I am on a flag kick of some kind because I stamped the sentiment sweet with Pink Passion ink on to a scrap piece and then adhered that to a scrap of Only Orange and then cut the flag notch out of one side. I added some stickles to the flowers on the chair and I was complete.

I will be back later for more, stay tuned *Ü*
