Whew, what a week!

Have you ever woke up and not known what day it is? Ricky took yesterday off because Mom had her eye surgery ~ so to me it felt like it was Saturday. Then I woke up this morning and shot right out of bed, I thought it was Sunday. When you don't hold down a day to day job your days get lost. Trust me on this... But I am glad that it was Friday ~ I've still got the weekend ahead of me.

Mom's surgery went fine. Now she just has to have this cocktail of eye drops3 different ones 4 times a day. Then she is weaned off of them slowly, but this goes on for a month. Then she will do it all over again with the other eye. Never take your sight for granted. Make sure that you are checked often.

I do want to apologize for not being around. I had 3 posts scheduled on blogger and they did not post so I just posted them. I don't know what happened.

I also want to show you something that my BIL made. He is getting into the "green" lifestyle. Last year he had to design something for his engineering class. He made a chair out of nothing by cardboard and glue. You can stand on this chair, jump up and down on it ~ it will not bend or break. It is amazing.

Well he stopped by the other day to take Danielle to the movies and he left one of his creations here so it would not get rained on if it rained while they were in the movies. Yes, I had to picture it. He's actually talking to different businesses about selling these. The green theme is very popular - I know that I try to do my part everyday. We all have to for the earth's sake.

Now once again, remember my BIL has a wacky sense of humor. I don't know where this idea came from ~ the other's he's made are chairs, but this is funny.

It is just cardboard and glue. Amazing!

Well I'm off for now. I'm going to gaze thru the new catty's some more.

Glad to hear Rose is doing good. Give her a hug from me. Eye surgery to me is always scary. I have had to have some too and always glad when it is done and all is well.
